Greywolf sings his wolf chant with the Quileute tribe

Greywolf’s return visit to the Pacific Northwest, ten years on from the last one. Tempus fugit, right? From August 1st to 7th, GW will be at LaPush on the far Western coast of the Olympic Peninsula. LaPush holds a special place in his heart as it’s the tribal heartland of the Quileute folk who are descended from shape-shifting wolves. On GW’s last visit, he sang his wolf chant for the Drum Circle and he and his sons were made members. On that occasion, one of the tribal elders had had a prevision of Greywolf’s coming a few days before he arrived.

From August 1st to 3rd, Greywolf will be teaching at a weekend retreat at LaPush, sharing some of the Druidcraft found in the BDO courses. For details, contact Leon Reed on (206) 329 6260.

LaPush ShorelineThe 4th to the 7th will be an informal time, leading up to the potlatch ceremony and Quileute Drum Circle on Wednesday evening. The picture shows the shorline at LaPush and the rocky outcrops that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Contact the Quileute Oceanside Resort via their website to see if they have any cabins available.

Then there’s the Gorsedd of Caer Pugetia in Seattle on Saturday, August 9th. The Gorsedd was founded during Greywolf’s first visit to the States in company with Bobcat (Emma Restall Orr), who was then joint chief of the BDO.

The rest of GW’s time will be spent in Seattle, where various events are arranged. Again, contact Leon for details on (206) 329 6260.
