I have been writing less and less in my bardic journal as I have been studying and reading more as I go on. I am currently following the path as a hedge druid and spend my time when not working writing poetry and short stories in between studying rituals etc.

Brightest Beltane blessings to you Amanda hope you are keeping well and safe in these unusual times, I have been spending more time meditating at the moment, I tend to use the breathing techniques mostly as this was how I first learnt when studying Buddhism, I also prefer to meditate outside somewhere quiet and peaceful with just the sounds of nature then at least if I am distracted it’s by something beautiful that can be used to refocus on where I am and what I am doing.
This probably doesn’t help much but I thought that I would share it with you.
Keep well I hope the rest of your journey is going well
    Keep in touch.

Greetings Stephanie so nice to hear from you, I had never thought of doing this electronically, I guess it is because I am on the computer so much during my working day. It is a really good idea though how do keep it safe should something go wrong with your computer do you worry about losing your work, I know i worried so much when I finally went digital with my photography, I got really anal backing it all up in so many different places.

    Greetings David

Thanks for the reply it’s so useful getting all this info I’m currently just putting in anything and everything which isn’t always useful, I have been writing my dreams in but sometimes forget what I was dreaming about by the time I get to writing in it as I have early starts with work, I think I need to concentrate more which again isn’t always that easy. I have been writing more poetry lately and I have started a separate journal just for those

I too have been working on my love of poetry, I have found inspiration in the magpie, I have one that visits the garden and I have found a connection with it. And I have started working on a piece about him.
Are you on the student Facebook page?
I joined it after starting the course.
    Blessings to you

Greetings and salutations to you Amanda, yes it is lovely sharing this wonderful journey, I have started learning some stories I have one called stone soup which is an amazing tale, I have also had the inspiration to write more, I was asked what was my earliest memory of writing and storytelling and it provoked me to write in my journal an autobiographical history of what and when I wrote it was really evocative. It is so much nicer to have someone to share this with who is doing the same thing, I will definitely keep in touch

    Hi Stuart

Nice to hear from you and thank you for the reply, I have been working on this and I have also been finding it hard to write something every day I have put in some things that I have found happening in my day to day life and it is getting better now although I am not sure if what I am writing is correct but it is making me look at what I do and opening my eyes and ears to what is happening around me

    Blessed be

    Darryl
