I am a 38-year-old male from Liverpool and currently studying the Bardic Course with BDO. I had an ecological and spiritual awakening a couple of years ago, after escaping the misery and stress of my life at the time. It was a high-pressure existence of TV, computers, politics, consumerism, and my stressful career as a Police Officer. I decided to dedicate my future objectives to getting to know nature, and since, I haven't looked back once. Learning to better understand nature, I found the beauty of the endless cycles, the abundance of positive energy, and the raw reality of the wild really awe-inspiring, and I wanted to better understand how I can closely work with this energy. I also found a deep connection with the rivers, lakes, and streams and felt comforted by trees. I am very interested in Druidry because it resonates with me on a deep and personal level and I'm keen to know where this path will lead me.
