Bear in mind that the BDO is run by a small group who very kindly volunteer their time. The point of the BDO’s existence has always been about the promotion of our vision of Druidry, one that was not represented by any other group at the time we were founded. None of us are comfortable with the capitalist imperative to make money at all costs. The small amount generated by the BDO goes towards its running costs. Those who work for us do so because they share our vision of Druidry. All have other sources of income which, in most cases, consume a fair chunk of their time. This accounts for delays in fixing problems that occasionally arise with the forum and website, in responding to emails, etc., for which we apologise. Given our limited resources, we do the best we can. Such problems as there are emerge from trying to live to spiritual values in a society that largely sidelines the value of spirituality. Part of our work is to change those societal values. In the meantime, thank you for your patience!
