Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantIn Part #7, it goes into how Philip goes on a Walk to Iford and encounters a Spirit Guide Goddess called ‘Niwalen’ who has a ‘Druid Dubh’ Black Bird and the Spirit Guide informs him that he can ask the Druid Dubh a single Question. He asks, “What has become of all the Animals and Plants which no longer Grace our Land” and the Druid Dubh begins to Sing putting the answer into his Head “Life will always exist in some fashion or another”.
Philip does have a Druid Animal Oracle Tarot Deck that has the Druid Dubh Black Bird included.

In Part #9 ‘The Songs of our Ancestors’, Philip writes of coming upon a gathering in a Circle of Thatches Yurts in which they are Celebrating Imbolc and on Page #38, have their having lit 19 Candles with each Candle representing a certain aspect of Life & The Spirits. All of the Candles refer to some sort of Peaceful Aspect of Life and here are 3 of them.
#6 is the Flame on your Altar which never Dies.
#12 is is a Veil of Truth in a Flowering Thorn which is your Wearyall Path.
And #15 is the Grove of Kildare with Solid Oak and Crystal Spring.I have found it sort of Ironic that all 3 of those Candles are Numbers that are Divisible by 3.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantPart #10 is called ‘Rainbows’ and is about Dragons that come out from a Rainbow and goes into the Legend about Two White & Red Dragons being summoned from a Castle Basement by Merlin to do Combat above in the Sky.
Philips points that such Demonic Dragon Evil can ever been Fought, Fleed From or Befriended. He suggests that such Evil Power should simply be Avoided and Fled From and left to it’s own.

In Chapter #11 ‘Witches And Druids’ of ‘The Druid Way’ on Page #53, Philip Carr-Gomm states that there is a Major Difference in Wiccan Pagan Magic and Druidistic Magic and that the Wiccans use their “rustic ‘low magicians’ were the use of their knowledge of Herbal Potions and Spell Casting for Hurting and Cursing rather than Blessing and Healing”.
That is definitely something that I have noticed about Wiccan Pagans, especially from Raymond Buckland’s ‘Wicca For Life’, is that they dabble in Mind Control Magic as well as Hurting and Cursing.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantAfter reading the Chapters on Lucie and Rhiannon, Philip then relates the Story of how they then went to a place called ‘Primrose Hill’ to Commemorate the 200 Year Anniversary of the refounding of Druidism by Iono Morganwg.
I had never heard of Primrose Hill in London so I had to run to my Computer and do a Google Earth Search for it.
Found it and there are loads of Nice Pictures of the Hill.
I wish I had of known of the Hill in 2024. I would have gone there for my Tour of London during 2024 Winter Solstice.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantContinued in Chapter #19, ‘The Journey Home’, Philip makes mention of how the Chalk Giant Etchings are to Represent the Fertility and Spirituality of the Land.
He then makes mention of the Camel’s Hump Hill which is a Place that I had never heard of before. So I did the Google and found that it is a Sacred Location located in Scotland at a Trail called ‘Ardnadam’ and here is a URL to it:
https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/argyll/ardnadam.shtmlIt’s Proper Name is Dunan Hill actually.

Got to the Last Little Chapter of The Druid Way and found that Philip lists off Four Sacred Hills that Surround the Lewes Tump Mound.
Around it there are 4 Hills which have Sunrises and Sunsets on the Two Solstices.
For Summer Solstice, the Sun comes up from behind Cliffe Hill and goes down behind Blackcap Barrows.
For Winter Solstice, the Sun comes up from behind Beddingham Hill and goes down behind Swanborough Hill Barrow.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantCliffe Hill has a Wikipedia Listing. Just do Google Search for ‘Cliffe Hill’
You will have to do the Google as these Forums will not allow me to post any sort of Links to Wikipedia.
Texted Pictures of the Wikipedia Listing to my Druid Spirit Guide.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantEarlier in his Book, Philip Carr Gomm indicates that Lewes’s Name is a version of the Celtic God’s Name ‘Lugh’.
After a couple of Centuries after establishing the Village & Town there, they realised that where they placed their Town was in a position that there was 4 Surrounding Hills that lined up perfectly for the Sunrises & Sunsets of the Sacred Solstices.
They then worked out the Exact Perfect Position in the Village for viewing those Sunrises & Sunsets and built the Tump Mound on it.
I believe that Philip Carr Gomm himself resides there. Hence the reason for his writing of that Book ‘The Druid Way’.

Dave TheDruid-3X3ParticipantI wanted to get this Book but the Library says that it is not Reservable:
“Saskatchewan trees of renown : an honor roll of notable and record trees and groves of Saskatchewan”So I did get to place a Hold on this one:
“Saskatchewan trees”.I will make an Enquiry about why I can not get ‘Trees of Renown’.
Saskatchewan Trees is listing as ‘Pending’ atm.

Saskatchewan Trees arrived from the Library a couple of days ago:

The Preface has put me onto a couple of other Books: ‘Native Trees of Canada’ & ‘Field Guide of the Native Tress of Manitoba’.
I will have to look them up to see if they are available to check out of my Local Library.
Have read the Book’s Listings for Showy Mountain Ash and the Green Ash to my Druid Spirit Guide and have text a couple of Pages of it to her.
Now will have Afternoon Meditation before going on about the Jack Pine.
It is rather thin Book with only about 55 Pages with only One Page dedicated to each Tree that is in the Book.
