ParticipantAwens to All:
I have several National Geographic ‘Trashopolis’ Video Programs on VHS and one of them is about London and its History of Garbage Handling.
In that Program, there is a part of how Victorian Age Paupers used to go down to the Thames River and go through the Mud in the River Beds looking for any discarded Valuables that they could take and Sell.
The Program says there are still Mudlarks but they are people who like going through the Mud of the River to find Historically Significant Treasures. I found that part of the Program fascinating.
So I have now come across someone doing a Channel on Modern Mudlarking. I am finding those YouTubes to being quite fascinating.
I have been following the YouTubes of Nicola White Mudlark.
She runs a Arts Website called Tidal Arts.

ParticipantAnd here is one about how a Mudlark found a Victoria Cross in the Thames:
I Love the Old Legends and Lore Stories she digs about the various Finds she makes.
She is such a Story Teller that I consider her to be a Bardic Druid.
