The British Druid Order › Forums › BDO Public Forum › Megalithomania Glastonbury 9th May to 10th May 2020
http://www.megalithomania.co.uk
Programme: Professor Mark Parker Pearson on Stonehenge and the bluestones of Wales. Dr. Martin Sweatman on Gobleki Tepe. Howard Crowhurst on Carnac. Dr. Gail Higginbottom on European megalith builders. The origins of Britain. The Deer Goddess. John Michell. Peter Knight. I realise that this may appear to be something like an ad, I apologise for that. I have been to one of these events before. It is not strictly Druidical, but it does cover subject areas which Druids might find very interesting. While you are not at the lectures, Glastonbury has much to offer.
Sounds interesting.
Do you know this site, the Megalithic Portal, at https://www.megalithic.co.uk/ ?
Quite a lot of research and useful for “field trips”, and there’s information on sites from around the world too.
Oops …
PS.
