Greetings to all,

Today, 31 July, is the last Sunday in July and this evening begins Lughnasadh, it is also Domhnach Crom Dubh – Crom Dubh Sunday.

However you may celebrate or mark this occasion, seeing as it is a harvest festival, it’s also a good time, at least in my opinion, to reflect (even more) on the problems around the world regarding our relationship with nature, and also food security. As some of may be celebrating the festival(s) with food, let us be thankful for the food that we have, and not forget those who have not. As part of my marking the celebration this year, I made a donation to the UN World Food Programme.

Anyway, wherever you are, and however you mark the day, many blessings to you all … Kalan Est Lowen!
