Awens to All:
Philips has an ‘Afterword’ after the 8th Chapter and the First Thing he writes is his say that Druidism is not a Complicated Path. I have to disagree with that as I have known several ‘so called’ Druids that have made the Druidistic Path a Very Complicated One especially after reading about how many Years it takes for one to Graduate through the Bardic, Ovate and Druidistic Grades of Druidism.
Philip then equates the Sun to being the “Father Sun” which I take to mean that Philip considers the Sun to be a Masculine Entity.
He then goes on to state that it is due to Humanity’s Fascination with Machines & Mechanics that causes Humanity to be cut off from Appreciating Nature. I disagree as it has always looked to me that Humanity has cut itself from Appreciating Nature since around the Time of the Renaissance and since the Time of Gutenburg’s Invention of the Printing Press.
The Last Line in the Afterword was somewhat profound as it goes: “Our Roots are Holy”.
I did find a couple of New Things about Druidry in this Book and I recommend it being every Druid’s Library.
