Awens to All:

I got this nice Email from a Druidistic Member of Megalithic Portal Website:

Today, 18th, is the start of winter solstice and continues till 24th….
So….

In the shadowed hush of winter’s reign,
Where nights grow long and stars remain,
We honor the darkness, deep and old,
A sacred cradle where life unfolds.

From ancient times, the earth did turn,
In silent promise, waiting to burn
With the light that’s born anew,
A gift of hope, both pure and true.

Midway through this sacred span,
On the 21st, we honor the plan—
The sun’s slow pause, the turning tide,
A moment when the worlds collide.

Let roots grow deep in darkened ground,
Where hidden truths in silence’s sound,
Remind us of the ancient ways,
Before the shadows of modern days.

May spirits of land and sky,
Guide our hearts and open our eyes,
To see the truth beneath the guise,
And find the light that in us lies.

Blessed be the returning sun,
The promise of the long days to come,
As darkness wanes and dawn appears,
May wisdom grow through all our years.
