Well Met Dave & Greywolf,
In my former life I did a large amount of networking via social media. I reached out to hundreds of people and groups of different kinds – using Facebook primarily (though not exclusively, there are plenty of online rabbit holes). It was very, very useful tool for private messaging and creating small group conversations. I see that the BDO Facebook account is however an open one for all to join. Which is fine and dandy, especially if it’s being actively used to promote the BDO over general memes and marketing by sellers of their own wares (something which appears to plague Facebook pages these days). Perhaps the BDO could have a pinned post on there about getting in touch via an organised chat, with a view to accessing or establishing real world groves? It’s probably something that would need hashing out a bit. I’m happy to volunteer for the BDO, as said elsewhere, under suitable guidance and supervision with a view to networking and organising meets / groves / events. I’m rusty, but always happy to put my back behind work that I enjoy. And bringing people together is something I enjoy doing (Leo Moon in the 11th house). I note in particular that this forum is barely used now. That’s an unfortunate effect of the outsourcing of discreet social platforms to big generic ones like Facebook, Twitter (now X), and so on. Discord seems to be currently the most popular chat based platform, that could work too. As said, I imagine it will need hashing out by those who know the membership and have contact details.
Bright Blessings,
Redd
