RowanHi :-) Although I’ve done handwritten journalling for years, I recently switched to digital journalling. This is partly to do with how lots of thoughts, ideas, inspiration come through whilst I’m walking, and I find it easier to jot that down using my phone than by hand-scribbling. I compile my notes into a Word document. I appreciate the facility to search digital text rather than by turning over numerous written pages. I still have a hand-created Bardic journal using an artist book, and other hand-made elements, but my main notes are now in digital form.
