I must admit that I am becoming disenchanted with CF lately. I was under the impression that Dun Brython was to be the place for the in-depth articles and academic discussions, whilst CF forum would be for more everyday discussion of things of interest to Brythonic folk.

However, I'm finding it harder and harder to push my way through the academic jungle CF has become. I'm entirely a practical Brython, I don't wish to revisit Academia, I finished with Uni years ago, and I want the practical applications of Brythonic Culture, not treacle-thick discussions on esoteric subjects.

I have pleaded in vain, and I am beginning to feel like the lone voice in the wilderness, (to borrow from the Bible), and so I visit less and less frequently. Talking things to death is all very well, but eventually, you have to be able to put money where your mouth is and do it for real! :|

I never thought I would ever consider leaving CF, but I'm getting close.

Cheers, Ayana (aka Midori)

Sorry to hear that, Midori. I can assure you I'm no academic & very grounded & practical in nature.

Hang in there, oh BTW there should be gatherings comming up this year & other stuff too

I'd like to join in with gatherings, because I like many of the folk, it's just the interminal incomprehensible intellectual jargon ( see, I can do it! ;) ) that is putting me off, I find I can't join in, and any comments I try to make get ignored in almost every example.

It's not possible to attend gatherings at the moment, anyway, as I cannot get the eye surgery until I get moved, and that seems as far away as ever.

Cheers, Ayana

I left or stopped going to school at 15. I've never been to uni & I'm certainly no interlectual, I can assure you.

My threads & thoughts are often ignored too. It's nothing personal, it's just the way it is.

Best wishes,
