Druid Communities
For years, many of us in the Druid community have dreamt of forming communities of like-minded people to share the Druid way of life. So far, all attempts have been thwarted by lack of funds. This is because the idea has been to buy a large piece of land and to build a community on it from scratch. Naturally, this involves a pretty big financial outlay.
Our idea gets around this by encouraging Druids to move to exisiting villages and towns where other Druids are already living. This way, Druid communities will grow organically over time and the only financial outlay involved is the normal cost of moving house. When there are enough of us in one place, we could set up food co-ops, micro-generation schemes, car sharing, pool money and buy land, etc, etc. This is so simple, I'm baffled why I didn't think of it years ago.
On the other pages in this section, you will find short descriptions of places in various parts of the UK where Druids already live and where others would be welcome. Most are near existing Druid Groves and/or well-known sacred sites. Each page has links to estate agents selling and renting properties in those areas. So, next time you're thinking of moving, check out these pages, and find yourself a Druidic place to live.
